How was Nepal rich than England and USA during reign of Jung Bahadur Rana?

Born in June,18 1816, Jung Bahadur Rana's real name was Bir Narsingh Kunwar.His maternal uncle Mathebar Thapa entitled him with Jung Bahadur Rana.He was the ruler of Nepal and founder of Rana Dynasty in Nepal.
He had maintained good relationship with foreign countries and was succeed to make Nepal recognised in world.During the visit in England,he discovered many new strategies to make economic improvement in Nepal.Historical creations and religious culture used to make Nepalese proud.

His maternal Grandson Bhimsen Thapa built "Dharahara" which was the tallest tower in entire Asia.Apart from that,monuments and temples were the source of tourism attraction in Nepal.Rules and Laws were fully conducted in positive way.
After his death in February 25,1877,Nepal had to bear a great loss and still Nepal is on the way to face lots of crisis.
