Oil import agreement with India dismissed



Nepal dismissed agreement of oil import from with India

Oil import agreement done by Nepal Oil Corporation with Indian Oil Corporation before 40 years ago  has been dismissed this Thursday.Due to Madhesi protest in Nepal since 2 weeks, Indian Oil Corporation is not able to export sufficient Oil to Nepal explaining the reason of loose security. Due to this Nepal is forced to dismiss 40 year old agreement and finally chose an alternative way to import oil.
According to the agreement,IOC must dispatch sufficient amount of petroleum to Nepal but after Nepal's constitution,Indian government is making different pretends not to send oil and hence resulting  shortage due to long blockade
