Deepak Raj Giri was born in Dahachowk-2 of Thankot. Deepak Raj Giri, the main pillar of "Tito Satya", which is one of the most popular comedy serials of Nepal. He is one of the finest comedy actor of Nepal. He was the director and actor of Tito Satya. The social and political satires projected the serials are prepared with the sincerity and dedication to his work.

He went to school five days a month. The rest of the month, he went to cinemas to watch movies. He have watched a particular movie 30 times. As a child he was a spoiled kid. He used to steal money from his father.
He failed twice in the SLC examinations in the same subject.Finally, Deepak passed SLC in the year . Than after he got married with Menuka Giri,16-year-old still going to school.
Deepak wanted to become an artist but his father wanted him to join police force. He even took a job as a police officer. But, later he ran away from the training camp and didn't go home for some time. Then he went to Kathmandu to struggle in hope of starting his career in acting.

After a long struggle he got an opportunity to act in a short role in a program by Dinesh DC, Twakk Tukka. After that, he got more opportunity and after the start of Tito Satya, he is considered one of the best comedy actors in Nepali television.Deepak
With the success of Tito Satya, the leading couple in the serial, Deepak and Deepa have also enjoyed a huge popularity and liking. They are seen together in many programs in the country and abroad.
Deepak and Menuka's eldest daughter is doing her BSc Nursing in Bangalore, India. 22-year-old son and a younger son live with them in Nepal.
Apart from tele-serial he has also acted in a lead role in a movie named Sundar Mero Naam, however was not that successful.
He also made "Mitho Satya", a telefilm by USAID's Nepal Family Health Program II.
Apart from tele serial he also seen in movie industry as well. The movie like Chor,Nepal, Sundar mero naam and so on.
He also got the TAFON-Media Hub Tele award in 2067 held in Kathmandu on May 17, 2010 for the best comedy serial Tito Satya.
