CA begins voting, likely to conclude today

246 of 302 articles approved

The Constituent Assembly has began voting on the articles of the new constitution as soon as the meeting began at around 11 am today.
CA Chairman Nembang wished for a happy Teej festival and began the voting process at CA building in New Baneshwor.


CA had approved 246 of the 302 articles on Tuesday including parliamentary system with bicameral legislature, ceremonial presidency and three-tier judiciary in the new federal setup. The remaining articles are likely to be concluded today.
